Research in the Institute of Medical Biochemistry is focused on signalling pathways regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis and differentiation in mammalian tissues with special reference to malignant cells. In addition, RNA-protein interactions are investigated with a focus on protein translation and ribosome function.
